Hire Car: If you’d like a little more freedom to explore the island, hiring a car at the airport is easy. We’ll send you simple directions to get you here, and there’s free parking available just a short walk from the accommodation.

 

 

Once you arrive, you’ll take a beautiful 2-minute walk along a traditional levada path. The path is slightly uphill but offers absolutely breathtaking views of the mountains, valleys, and sea — a perfect welcome to your Madeiran escape. (Guests with limited mobility might find the incline a little challenging, but we’re always happy to help.)
